Gourmet Elephant Garlic purees arrive in U.S.
The big garlic with the big taste has arrived in the United States ! Chilean Harvests first shipment of Chiloe Gourmet elephant garlic purees has arrived and the first sale already closed.
Elephant garlic has a potent taste with a hint of ginger but is not as overpowering as normal garlic. Chiloe Gourmet garlic purees distinctive, intense flavors are excellent for preparing a wide range of hot and cold appetizers and entrees.
They originate from the Chilean island of Chiloe, a green and unspoilt island at the gateway to Patagonia in the south Pacific, famous for its folk legends and beautiful scenery. They are made using the giant Chilote garlic, the southernmost garlic in the world.
